Installing CUDesktop

How do I install CUDesktop?

It’s easy. Just download the installer from www.caribunity.com, click the Open button(s), and follow the instructions from there.

What if there’s more than one user account on my computer?
Each user gets his or her own set of Klips, skins, and settings.

What if I get an error when I install CUDesktop?

This usually happens because the CUDesktop installer didn’t completely download. Clear your browser’s cache, and download the installer again.

Can I install CUDesktop on a flash drive?

Yup. Here’s what you do:

1. If you haven’t already done it, install CUDesktop on your computer.
2. Copy the Program Files\CUDesktop directory to the flash drive.
3. Click Start > All Programs > CaribUnity > Open CaribUnity Folder.
4. Copy the myklips and settings folders and the preferences.xml file to the same folder on the flash drive you copied the Program Files\CaribUnity directory to.
5. Create a shortcut on your computer to the CUDesktop.exe file on your flash drive.
6. Right-click the shortcut and click Properties.
7. Add /NOINSTALL to the path in the Target field, e.g., F:\PortableApps\CUDesktop\CUDesktop.exe /NOINSTALL.
