Does CUDesktop contain any spyware or adware?

Nope, none at all. We're really committed to keeping our users happy, and we know how they feel about spyware and adware. Plus it would bulk up and slow down our software, which is the exact opposite of what CUDesktop stands for.

Can all Klips be trusted?

Not exactly. Think twice about putting personal information into a Klip that doesn’t come from us. You wouldn’t enter your webmail username and password on just any web page, would you?

I added a Klip that says Klip Disabled. What’s that about?

It means the Klip you’ve added uses JavaScript that, in the wrong hands, could do nasty stuff to your computer. You can’t run the Klip unless you’re in Developer Mode and presumably capable of recognizing lethal JavaScript.

Does CUDesktop use HTTPS?

It doesn't require it, but it is supported. Some Klips use HTTPS for more secure communication.
